updates...

Errr, this is added when I'm in the mid of writing bout my gym experience. BEWARE, THIS IS TERRIBLY LENGTHY.
Sighs, just started this blog & I'm already slacking off... Anyways, just a few updates after I had finished my finals last Friday. NO 1 I went to to register at California Fitness at Sunway Pyramid. No, this is not an out-of-a-blue-random-impulsive-act. They were having a promo early this year, around March I think at my college and I was pushed (read:conned) into purchasing 1-month's worth of membership at the price of RM30. I have completely forgotten about the whole thing until i dug it out from the bottom of my drawer under all my textbooks. I glanced thru the t&c and guess what, it says that the card is valid until the end of Oct. So, immediately after finals, I went to SP to make sure the RM30 which I'd spent wasn't going down the drain. The nice ppl in California Fitness ensured me that I was able to use the card as long as I registered on that day itself and hence, I'm now a valid member of California Fitness, albeit one who's membership will expire in less than 30 days.
Well , I went there for the 1st time (I forgot which day was it, wait a sec, what day IS today anyways?) and was satisfied I guess, with everything I saw. I mean, everything was gym-ish in the sense that there were plenty of scare-looking machines at every direction of the gym, there was even a boxing arena!!(can't wait to try that out) The guys I saw were all buffed and pumped with muscles, sweat & testosterone..(hahaI betta stop before I start drooling all over the keyboard..); the ladies were, well, hot, lean and wait, did I MENTION SIZZLING HOT?! WAKAKA, I'm exposing my bisexual nature. Anyways, I was pretty happy with everything, they played some upbeat rock music in the background, the air-con wasn't too cold (my sinus becomes really painful if the air I breath is too chilly, so this becomes a major prob when I'm outta breath while running) and the ladies' were really really amazing!! They had everything prepared perfectly!! It's really ineffable, you have to be a girl to understand how important the layout of the changing rooms to the showers is for max convenience. HMM...I'm digressing. Back to topic, I was determined not to look like an complete IDIOT so I coolly walked to the treadmill and ran for the whole hour on the 1st day. (it was the only THING i knew how to operate)
The next day, I proceeded to the treadmill again, coolly too, take note. Just when I was ending the 1st half of my run, I was caught red-handed (running with the wrong technique) by the assistant manager of personal trainers (pt). Asking me whether I was gonna run the whole day, I dumbly said yes, since I know nothing else to do. (in the 2 floors gym where there are like millions of torture machines all over the place) He then led me to an empty space and laid out a yoga mat. I was like...OKAAYYY, now what? He started me with 3 sets of push ups, each with 10 repetitions, and then it went way up in the scale of difficulty. He pushed me to all kinds of postures and positions that I did not know I was capable of doing and even had the nerve to ask me whether I know how to split. (I'm not a freakin gymnast for goodness sake..) Then he even said that I am very very VERY stressed up and tensed. (...tell me something that I don't already know) But the whole session was free and I've gotta admit, I felt pretty relaxed and loosen up after a warm shower.
I signed up for 8 sessions of pt which costs me a bomb and I won't tell you exactly how much. I need a job!! Suggestions??? My pt's name is Sheeran and he's gonna have a big headache having me as a client. We have made only 2 appointments and I had already kept him waiting for 2 hours for both times. (ish!!!mensiasuikan sendiri larrrrr) He's a nice person, and he did my measurements, body fat, height, weight & all. WOOHOO!! I didn't' know I was pretty fit! hahahahaha...let me laugh in ecstasy for while... But the machine he used was super-duper cool, I stood on some metal plates and grabbed hold on some handle-like thingy, as the screen showed my fat, water and muscles. It even measured the distribution of my body muscles!! My legs are stronger then my arms, hmm, I guess I spent more time running instead of swimming. But, my body fat level is just under the 'acceptable' level so Sheeran's gonna torture me into losing more of it. (damn I'm paying him be tortured) Well, that should be all about gym blogging for the moment. I'm banned from sweating for 2 days, which brings me to the 2nd update.
NO2 I went to my hairstylist for just a touch up (I have split ends). I walked out with dyed roots and a frigging fringe which looks like what happens after a lawn mower ran past my forehead. (you get the picture) Sighs....I guess it'll look good on faces which are long and oval, BUT MINE?? Ish, I have a heart-shaped face for goodness sake, but since I've never tried a fringe like this before..sighs..I guess we all learn from experiences. All the same, curses to you Kento!! I'm advised to keep my hair dry for at least 2 days, so no gym-going!
NO3 I went to MidValley with Py & Jon last Thursday, which is...yesterday..so today's Friday!!! Err, anyways, it was more like a movie date for we watched 2 movies continuously that day. The 1st show, Quantum of Solace was quite predictable. I don't know, but without Pierce, Bond is just not Bond....Well, everything in the movie just screamed out 007: bond smashed his million dollar car as if it's a piece of rust metal (I was thinking "i want that baby" & the next thing i know, WHOOM!! SLAM!! CRASH!! damnit..), slept with the hot babe and ended up alive after being gunned down in a car, helicopter and speedboat. Oh did I mention being stranded in the middle of the dessert and a fire? Sighs, although it's ever-oh-so-predictable, people still swarm into movie theaters just to watch it because it's a Bond movie and how can we ever get tired of it? I gotta admit that I walked out the theater feeling the adrenaline pumping, confident and should I say cough*sexy*cough? Lol.. The 2nd movie we watched was 10 promises to my dog and although I hate to admit, Jon pointed out very frequently that the main character resembles me a lot, sighs, it's true.I can relate to her in so many ways. I like the movie even though some of the actors were let's say, lacking in the ability to act. It reminded me how much I like the Japanese language and the decorations of the house were very much to my liking(hint: lots of blues were used). Of course, the doggies in the movie were all positively CUTE to the max!!!! I like Socks, the golden retriever, more so when she was a puppy and the other white fluffy doggie (I don't know what breed it is). Oh, the lead actor was also a disappointment. How could a 100% cute boy grow up into becoming such a..BORE???? Ish, but I like his guitar playing, that I give him credit for. Perhaps the director was looking for someone with the ability and not the looks. BIG SIGH. On the whole, the movie gave me a warm fuzzy feeling, which most movies of this genre do, so...2 thumbs up.Oh, i cried a lil btw, harhar when Socks passed away, shh, no one was aware about it. We skipped lunch to make it on time for both movies so immediately after that we went to Secret Recipe to heal our agonizing tummies with yummy cakes & foodies. And for that lunch/dinner, I reached home at 7. And for THAT, mommie hasn't been talking to me since I reached home. HUGE HUGE SIGHS. Only hope this won't last long, I need to go to Subang this Sunday & next Tuesday.
Fingers crossed. Dear God, let her forgive me tomorrow. Take care everyone. Loves.
Signing out Ash
PS: I learnt 2 new words to describe me. Loquacious & garrulous. Idot will agree.
